Sugar and cinnamon doughnuts

1 egg

1/4 cup white sugar

2/3 cup of milk

1 cup of flour

1 packet of baking powder

1 tbsp. Mère Nature organic ground cinnamon

Vegetable oil for frying

1/4 cup white sugar to coat the doughnuts

2 tbsp of ground cinnamon to coat the doughnuts

1. Place flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.

2. Mix and form a well in the center.

3. Lightly beat the egg and put it in the center.

4. Pour in milk, vanilla and ground cinnamon.

5. Mix from the center to avoid lumps.

6. You will get a sticky and elastic dough.

7. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.

8. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil (important: the oil should not be too hot to avoid burning the doughnuts).

9. Using two small teaspoons, fry in batches of 5.

10. When golden, place on a plate covered with paper towels.

11. Then, put the sugar and cinnamon in a plate and mix.

12. Roll the doughnuts with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
