What are the return costs and conditions?

The following delivery information is valid for online purchases for private customers only. Orders from commercial customers may be subject to conditions different from those set out below.

COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES :

You will receive an e-mail when your order leaves our warehouse. Orders from the greater Montreal area and many other cities and regions in the province of Quebec will be delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am and 5pm. You will be notified in advance by the transport company. For orders to be delivered to remote areas of Quebec, the carrier will send you an e-mail with a tracking number for your reference.

Delivery times vary from 1 to 4 working days for Greater Montreal, several cities and regions of Quebec, and from 2 to 4 working days for remote areas of the province of Quebec.

It is the customer’s responsibility to indicate the correct delivery address. In case of error, please send an e-mail immediately to info@alimentsmerci.com with your order number, full name and correct address. Transportation costs may be deducted. This also applies in the case of unclaimed or refused packages.

At present, Les Aliments Merci delivers exclusively within Canada. Free in-store pick-up

In Montreal only, free pick-up of your parcel is offered at each of our stores. To do this, select the store of your choice in step #3 of the checkout process. Packages for pick-up will be held at the selected store for 7 working days, after which they will be returned to our warehouse.

Lost parcel

It rarely happens that a parcel gets lost in transit. If you encounter this problem, please contact our customer service department by e-mail or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8.30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Rest assured that we will follow up with the delivery service. You can also view the status of your order on your online account or by clicking on the link attached to your order confirmation e-mail.

Items damaged on delivery

Aliments Merci ensures that items are shipped in saleable condition and that they are properly packaged to prevent breakage in transit. If you receive a damaged item, you have 5 days following receipt of the merchandise to contact our customer service department by e-mail or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Perishables

We try to ship products with an expiration date of more than one month. In the event that a product’s expiration date falls short of our objectives, we will promptly contact you by e-mail or telephone to inform you of possible alternatives.

RETURNS POLICY :

Order cancellation

To cancel a current order, please contact our customer service department by e-mail or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. directly after placing and paying for the order. If your order has already been prepared or shipped, we cannot cancel your order or give you a refund.

Return of goods

It is possible to return your merchandise within 30 days of receiving your order if there is a problem with the quality of the products requested. If there has been an error in the order or if products have been damaged in transit, you have 5 days following receipt of the merchandise to contact our customer service department by e-mail or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Products to be returned must be intact and in their original packaging.

Once authorized, the refund will be made to your credit card within 1 to 3 business days of receipt of the product at our warehouse. The refund will be based on the value paid by the customer for the product(s), including taxes.
